Milo Ventimiglia, Sara Paxton, and Sarah Shahi to Star in 3D Thriller STATIC

Now that Heroes is dead and buried, the cast has plenty of free time to move on to other projects, potentially even projects that have compelling storylines and logical character motivations. The Wrap reports that Milo Ventimiglia is moving on to the 3D thriller Static and will join Sara Paxton (Last House on the Left) and Sarah Shahi (The L Word).

The story centers on “a young couple (Ventimiglia and Shahi) who are on the verge of divorce after the loss of their child, but their world changes when a young visitor arrives, bringing supernatural implications to the household.” So it’s like Rabbit Hole but in 3D with supernatural implications! Score!Static will mark the feature directing debut of commercial director Todd Levin. Despite being in 3D, the film’s budget is set at less than $1 million and will control costs by using Sony’s PMW-F3 cameras, which are the company’s answer to the popular RED 3D camera.
