Armani Makes 3D Fashion-Forward

Are you sick of looking like one of the Blues Brothers whenever you go to see a 3D movie? Armani brings hope with its own personal brand of 3D glasses. Helping to set the trend, the designer company has also contracted celebrities like Joe Jonas, Kat Graham, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Grey Damon, Nico Tortorella and Sara Paxton to entice you further. The A|X 3D eyewear is for theater use only—no 3DTV support. The glasses support 3D circular polarized lens technology, which is the most popular among feature films. Armani Exchange doesn't recommend you use these frames as sunglasses or while driving. However, the lens features a multilayered coating that Armani says will minimize distortion when you're checking yourself out in the bathroom mirror and enhances contrast when you want to wear them around town.

These glasses sport a retro 80s aviator look and come in only one color, "Crystal Gray." On the more technical end, the glasses are slightly tinted, as are most 3D glasses, these allow 98% of light through the lens—hopefully making for a more natural viewing experience.

The A|X 3D Glasses are currently available on Armani Exchange for $58. Too bad bringing your own 3D glasses (B.Y.O.3D.G) doesn't help reduce the price of your theater ticket.
